At the request of the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), FIAC–Kalapet, Aurokrishi Project, Sri Aurobindo Society, deputed two resource persons, Mr. Alex and Mr. Manimaran from Aurokrishi, to participate in the training programme conducted at Kanapathichettikulam.

The training programme was organised under the Support to State Extension Programmes for Extension Reforms – ATMA initiative, with the objective of promoting technology dissemination and facilitating the transfer of agricultural knowledge from experts to farmers. The programme focused on Natural and Organic Farming, preparation of organic inputs and guidance and procedures for organic certification.

Our resource persons shared their knowledge and practical experience with the participating farmers and provided guidance on sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices. Their participation helped create greater awareness about the use of organic inputs and natural farming methods, while also providing an opportunity for interaction and knowledge sharing with the farming community.

Aurokrishi’s participation in the programme reflects Sri Aurobindo Society’s continued support for farmer-oriented initiatives and its commitment to promoting Natural and Conscious Farming. The collaboration with ATMA also strengthens Aurokrishi’s engagement with farmers and agricultural extension programmes in Puducherry.
